Every Saturday, 8-11 a.m., locations include: World of Speed (Wilsonville), Jantzen Beach (Portland), Cascade Station (Portland) McMinnville WalMart, Oregon City (Eighth and Main), Vancouver (136 and Mill Plain). No entry fee, all cars welcome.

Airplanes and Cars

Second Saturday of each month, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., WAAAM Air and Auto Museum, 1600 Air Museum Rd., Hood River. Antique aircraft are rolled out and visitors can ride in antique cars at the museum located three miles from Hood River.

44th Annual Portland Classic Model Car Show & Contest

Saturday, Feb. 27, 1-4 p.m., World of Speed Museum, 27490 S.W. 95th Ave., Wilsonville. "Build It, Keep It" event for kids 12 and under. Get a free model kit (while supplies last), put it together, and take it home.

60th Annual Portland Roadster Show

Friday, March 18-Sunday, March 20, Portland Expo Center, 2060 N. Marine Dr. Celebrate five decades of the region's largest custom car show, sponsored by the Multnomah Hot Rod Council. Includes Hall of Fame award winners from previous shows. See:

The Oregon Trail Rally

Friday, April 22-Sunday, April 24, beginning Friday at Portland International Raceway, 1940 N. Victory Blvd. Round 3 of the 2016 Rally America National Championship begins in Portland before moving east towards The Dalles and Dufur for Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit:

51st Annual PIR Auto Swap Meet

March 31-April 2, Portland International Raceway, 1940 N. Victory Blvd. Five miles of booths filling every available space inside the road course. Gates open at 7 a.m. daily. $7 admission, $10 parking.

Suburban Auto Group Cruise-In

May 7, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., 36936 Hwy. 26, Sandy. The first big cruise-in of the season always draws hundreds of cars and thousands of spectators. Covered eating, DJ music, vendors. Proceeds benefit Guide Dogs for the Blind.

2016 Portland Transmission Warehouse Spring Classic

Saturday, May 14, 7 a.m.-11 a.m., Portland Transmission Warehouse, 1016 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd., Portland. One of the largest street shows in the country draws hundreds of cars in inner Southeast Portland for both a judged awards show and unorganized cruise-in.

Papa's Toys Open House

Saturday, May 14, 1-4 p.m., 495 N. Holladay St., Cornelius. Annual public tour of one of the largest private car collections in the region, with unorganized cruise-in in the large parking lot. Donations benefit Doernbecher's Children's Hospital.
