“I wanted this year’s Children’s Theatre play to be designed for younger students,” director Jessica Murray said. “I have a 4-year-old son who asked me, ‘Mommy, can you make me a play about the Big Bad Wolf?’ ”

This show blends the stories of “Little Red Ridinghood,” “The Three Little Pigs” and “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” and examines each from the perspective of the wolf and a little boy named Walter who is having a very bad day. This show is designed for young children and runs 30 minutes, with a meet and greet following the production.

“It is contemporary and cute, a story a little kid can absolutely relate to, about examining good choices and friendships,” Murray said.
