Students at all grade levels submitted art and painted tiles for the mural, which will be 13 feet tall and 8 feet wide.

Carlson and Englund, who have worked at schools throughout the West Linn-Wilsonville School District, are best known for their Beauty and the Bridge project, a 7,000-tile mural on Wilsonville Road’s Interstate 5 underpass.

Carlson began working with students at Boones Ferry Primary School starting last week.
