by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - From left, Jonathan Breen, Daniel Dyer, Nicholas Cupparo and Neil Olson recently completed their Boy Scout Eagle Service Project. Eagle Scout is the highest rank that can be attained by Scouts and less than 6 percent of youth who join Scouting earn the honor. The Eagle Court of Honor was held June 1 at Resurrection Catholic Parish with more than 150 in attendance. Bob Voll, the retiring Scout Master of Troop 396, was also honored for his dedicated leadership over the past decade.

The Scouts are all from West Linn and are 18 years old. Since its inception, Troop 396 has had 29 Scouts attain the Eagle rank.

Dyer and Breen completed projects at Bolton Primary School, Cupparo’s project was at West Linn-Wilsonville CREST Center and Olson’s was at Tualatin Presbyterian Church.
