Learn about Three Rivers Charter School

West Linn and Wilsonville parents and their students entering grades 4 through 8 are invited to attend an informational meeting about the 2014-15 school year at Three Rivers Charter School.

Attendees will learn about the Three Rivers program and have a chance to ask questions. Meetings are scheduled for May 12, 4:30 to 5:30 at the Wilsonville Library, 8200 SW Wilsonville Road and May 22, 4 to 5 p.m. at Three Rivers, 4975 Willamette Falls Drive in West Linn. An open house is scheduled at the school May 20 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

Admissions forms will be available at all the sessions. Applications myst be completed and returned by May 27 at 4 p.m. to be eligible for the school’s lottery.

Support WLHS Mock Trial team

West Linn High School’s mock trial team is competing this week at a national competition in Madison, Wisc., after having placed first in the state competition in March. Attend info night for incoming middle-schoolers

West Linn’s middle schools are gearing up to welcome a new class of sixth-graders. Parents of new middle-schoolers are invited to attend an informational meeting May 14 at either Athey Creek or Rosemont Ridge middle schools. Both school’s meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. and run until 8 p.m.

Buy tomato plants from CREST

The school district’s CREST Center will hold its annual tomato plant sale May 13 from 1 to 6 at the CREST Center, 11265 SW Wilsonville Road.

The sale will feature strong, healthy tomato plants, grown at CREST, in four-inch pots. Varieties available will include early producers, main season slicers, cherry and heirloom tomatoes, and each plant will cost $3. Some basil plants also are available also, for $1 per plant. Proceeds support CREST garden programs.
