Mark calendars for WLHS 2015 graduation

West Linn High School has revised the date for its 2015 graduation due to a conflict at the University of Portland. The graduation ceremony will take place June 1, 2015, at the University of Portland’s Chiles Center. Students in the class of 2015 will attend their last day of classes May 28, 2015.

Learn about college options

The nonprofit group Colleges That Change Lives will host a college fair in the ballrooms of the Oregon Convention Center July 27. CTCL is dedicated to the advancement and support of a student-centered college search process, working to inform families that criteria such as college name and prestige do not acknowlege the importance of finding the right “fit” between students and a college community’s mission and identity.

The Portland event will begin at 1 p.m. with a 30-minute information session followed by a college fair until 3 p.m. The convention center is located at 777 NE Martin Luther King Boulevard in Portland. Look online for a list of colleges that will be represented at the event: ctcl.org/events/portland14.
