West Linn schools welcome new faculty

New teachers hired at West Linn schools for the 2014-15 school year

Students and their parents will be seeing some new faces at every West Linn school when classes resume next week. The school district’s 2014-15 budget allowed the district to maintain the 29 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions added during the last school year and also to fund an additional 16 FTE.

Increased enrollement over the summer months gave the district the opportunity to add an additional six FTE, according to Kathe Monroe, the district’s director of human resources.
