Witnesses of drunk-driving suspect sought

West Linn couple involved in accident


Oregon State Police troopers are seeking witnesses who stopped at the scene of an early Sunday morning crash in the southbound lanes of Interstate 205, just south of the Clackamas interchange.

Gregg Hastings said Oregon City resident Tyson Lake, 27, drove his black 2007 Ford by: PHOTO COURTESY OREGON STATE POLICE - Oregon State Police troopers are seeking witnesses who stopped at the scene of an early Sunday morning crash involving Oregon City resident Tyson Lake driving his black 2007 Ford Focus.Focus two-door southbound at a high rate of speed and crashed into the rear of a red 2008 Dodge Ram pickup. Subsequent investigation led OSP Trooper Justin Lane to arrest Lake for driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and misdemeanor driving while suspended.

Lake was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail but is now out on bail.

The pickup's driver, Max Kimble, 51, from West Linn, received a possible minor injury but did not go to a hospital. His 47-year old wife was not hurt.

Some witnesses who stopped at the scene left before police could obtain statements, Hastings said. Anyone witness to this crash is asked to contact Lane at 503-731-3020 ext 410.
