Rock and mock at the library

Concerts and community events are offered

Free concerts

Did you know that you can come hear live music every month at the library? West Linn Public Library has a free monthly concert series, “Music in the Stacks,” every third Wednesday in the main floor reading room. by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - Beth Willis and Todd Chatalas make up the Beth Willis Duo, who will perform at the next Music in the Stacks at the library.

In October we kicked off the 2012-2013 season with a trip back in time to the 1920s with the Inspirational Beets as they played Prohibition-era jazz music. This month we are going to hear the Beth Willis Duo play acoustic rock melodies and a few holiday songs thrown in for good measure.

Throughout the rest of the year, our concert series will feature a Grammy award winner, a Portland favorite, some up-and-coming singer-songwriters, a ragtime pianist and a jazz trio that will have you dancing in the aisles! If you’d like to learn more about Music in the Stacks or want to sign up for the library e-newsletter, visit our website at westlinnoregon.gov/library.
