1/1 12:43 p.m. A possibly drunk driver was “just distracted” near Hidden Springs and Rosemont roads.

1/3 11:06 p.m. Someone in the field behind the 19100 block of Kapteyns Street was “shuffling around.”

1/4 8:43 a.m. A sixth-grade boy in the 19000 block of Old River Drive refused to go to school.

1/7 10:02 p.m. Three-foot-tall “things” were in the road near Skyline Drive and Summit Street. Officers couldn’t find the things.

1/16 4:45 p.m. A man at Oil Can Henry’s was very upset because he was not given a coupon.

1/17 3:34 p.m. A suspicious green van keeps parking at Willamette Primary School. It turns out that it belongs to an employee.

1/21 10:25 p.m. A suspicious man parked at Rosemont Ridge Middle School was actually there for lacrosse practice.

1/29 9:47 p.m. A resident was concerned about an open gate and the possibility of something bloody in the 1600 block of Village Park Place. Police found nothing unusual.

1/30 1:09 a.m. A man entered Shari’s to make a phone call and hadn’t been heard from since. He was found at home.

1/30 12:39 p.m. A possible drunken driver near Arbor Drive and Highway 43 was really just lost.

1/30 2:57 p.m. A possibly drunk driver near 10th Street and Willamette Falls Drive was not drunk, just elderly.


2/2 4:49 p.m. A “rude” and “confrontational” neighbor in the 20400 block of Hoodview Avenue complained about another neighbor’s parking.

2/2 8:29 p.m. A blue vase containing ashes was found in a yard in the 3800 block of Mohawk Way.

2/4 10:24 p.m. A woman screaming at her cat to get its attention raised concern in the 5000 block of Broadway Street.

2/6 2:40 p.m. An angry son punched holes in a wall.

2/6 5:40 p.m. A son ran away from home after losing his phone and laptop privileges. He might have lost more privileges after walking back home.

2/8 1:06 a.m. A suspicious man in a hoodie and jeans was reported in the 19500 block of Hidden Springs Road. He was walking his dog.

2/8 1:02 p.m. A teenager dressed as the Joker while wearing a long purple wool coat was messing with students at Willamette Primary School.

2/8 4:16 p.m. Some teens, one dressed like the Joker, were raising suspicions at Albertsons.

2/9 5:39 p.m. The Joker was back at Willamette Primary School.

2/12 1:43 p.m. A lost chicken must have crossed the road in the 2200 block of Lois Lane.

2/15 11:43 p.m. Whistling was heard from Mary S. Young Park for many minutes, raising concern.

2/16 3:43 p.m. Harley the dog, resembling a deer, was running freely at Mary S. Young Park.

2/23 9 a.m. A parent, who was sitting in a vehicle waiting for a fieldtrip at Bolton Primary School, raised suspicions of a concerned witness.

2/24 10:07 a.m. An over-amorous couple was seen in a vehicle at Willamette Park.


3/3 1:14 a.m. A man “passed out” in his vehicle was really just waiting for help after he ran out of gas.

3/8 12:52 p.m. A rooster attacked construction workers in the 1500 block of Sixth Street.

3/12 10:47 a.m. A suspicious device near I-205 and Willamette Drive was determined to be a geocache.

3/27 7:01 a.m. A house sitter at a home on Crestview Drive heard noises downstairs. It turned out to be a hungry dog.


4/4 4:17 p.m. A cat wittingly locked its owner out of a home in the 20000 block of Larkspur Lane by knocking a stick into the track of a patio door.

4/6 9:40 p.m. Subjects diving in and out of bushes and hiding beneath parked cars in the 23000 block of Bland Circle were kids playing a game.

4/12 4:33 am. A suspicious person parked at Shari’s was just listening to talk radio before heading in to eat.

4/12 4:37 p.m. Loud music and screaming were heard coming from Rosemont Ridge Middle School. It was an afterschool music video and dance party.

4/18 2:09 p.m. Subjects who left their marijuana growing equipment at a home in the 1300 block of Fourth Street wanted it back.

4/18 4:44 p.m. Gunshots heard near West Linn High School were the track meet starting guns.

4/19 5:18 p.m. A man sitting on a retaining wall in the 5400 block of West A Street was flipping off passing drivers.

4/20 8:20 a.m. A man parked in a driveway in the 18700 block of Old River Drive was rubbing his head, which raised concern.

4/20 5:31 p.m. A stumbling subject at 14th Street and Willamette Falls Drive wasn’t drunk, just clumsy.

4/24 11:45 p.m. A mother was upset with her 31-year-old son, who refused to help carry the laundry.

4/26 2:54 p.m. A woman found a mysterious vehicle parked in her driveway in the 2900 block of Winkel Way. It was her cleaning lady.

4/27 4:37 p.m. A teen girl was standing on the West A Street-I-205 overpass “looking tired.”

4/29 12:21 a.m. A woman heard a noise in her home in the 3300 block of Cedar Court. It was her son.

4/30 12:05 p.m. A suspicious landscaping truck in the 19600 block of Wildwood Drive was there to do some landscaping.


5/1 5:44 p.m. A female driver was grimacing in the 19500 block of Hidden Springs Road.

5/2 12:51 p.m. A loose dog peed on the front porch of a home in the 23000 block of Bland Circle.

5/3 6:13 a.m. Two suspicious subjects sitting in a vehicle all night at Shari’s were experiencing car problems and were waiting for help.

5/4 6:12 p.m. A suspicious man in a vehicle in the 6700 block of Apollo Road was just waiting for a friend.

5/7 12:05 p.m. A skunk was stuck in a raccoon trap in the 2400 block of Southslope Way.

5/8 3:32 p.m. An elderly man walking near Lancaster Street and Parker Road appeared confused. He was not.

5/9 12:51 a.m. Someone was heard rummaging through a car in a garage in the 1800 block of Hall Court. It was the homeowner.

5/9 8:54 a.m. A suspicious man sitting in a vehicle at Oregon City Boulevard and Prospect Street was really just waiting for his grandson to get on the bus safely.

5/10 7:53 p.m. A woman found a baseball in her house in the 20100 block of Hoodview Avenue. She was not sure how it got there.

5/11 3:06 p.m. Someone was sleeping in a vehicle for 39 minutes at Caliente Court and Derby Street.

5/14 12:45 p.m. A large red owl was sitting on the ground at Robinwood Community Park, looking injured. The call was canceled when the bird flew away.

5/14 3:38 p.m. A coyote keeps visiting a yard in the 22900 block of Weatherhill Road. Police determined the coyotes were behaving normally.

5/15 2:50 p.m. A woman observed a cow give birth near Rosemont and Salamo roads, and the calf had still not stood up after several hours.

5/15 3:58 p.m. A goat with a pink collar was in a yard on the 2200 block of Willamette Falls Drive. The caller agreed to keep the goat until its owner was found or it escapes the yard, “whichever comes first.”

5/25 4:32 p.m. A yard worker raised concern when he sat in his van too long in the 2600 block of Warwick Street.

5/26 10:43 p.m. A homeowner was creeped out after discovering her house TP’ed in the 3700 block of Ridgewood Way.

5/29 11:56 a.m. Someone was pouring something suspicious down the drain in the 1800 block of Blankenship Road. It was water.

5/31 6:32 p.m. A suspicious person was sitting in a chair watching traffic at Arbor Drive and Highway 43.


6/1 7:37 p.m. Kids throwing tennis balls at a front door in the 2800 block of Beacon Hill were located and forced to apologize.

6/2 1:45 p.m. A guide dog went missing from the 5200 block of Summit Street.

6/3 6:36 p.m. An Amazon parrot was lost from the 1400 block of Buck Street.

6/6 7:59 p.m. Two men and a child, who were “generally disheveled” in appearance, raised concern in the 18800 block of Willamette Drive.

6/8 12:34 p.m. Police checked in on a man in the 1400 block of Village Park Place after he didn’t show up for work. He was on a “personal journey.”

6/9 6:46 a.m. A low-flying hot air balloon was seen from 10th Street and Willamette Falls Drive.

6/10 1:23 a.m. Loud and possibly naked people were in a pool in the 20100 block of Larkspur Lane.

6/10 7:48 p.m. Students from Estonia knocked on a door in the 2500 block of Bronco Court stating their exchange program fell through and asking if they could move in.

6/11 1:41 p.m. Suspected drug-making activity in the 1400 block of Rosemont Road turned out to be a homeowner installing a sport court who had barrels of water.

6/13 2:19 p.m. A 4- or 5-year-old came into Subway on Willamette Drive by herself ordering sandwiches.

6/13 9:59 p.m. Suspicious subjects in a new construction site near Chinook Court and Parker Road were really construction workers.

6/16 3:30 a.m. A cat that had been missing for several days was found stuck in a storm drain in the 2100 block of Long Street. An officer freed the too-curious kitty.

6/21 3:14 p.m. A man felt threatened by a tail-wagging dog in the 1900 block of Furlong Court.

6/22 2:28 p.m. A good Samaritan picked up and drove home an elderly woman who was on the freeway. She had not been able to find her bus stop.

6/26 8:57 p.m. A noisy birthday party escalated when kids starting throwing water balloons at a neighbor’s house in the 3000 block of Remington Drive.

6/26 10:42 p.m. An ex-boyfriend was burning a woman’s belongings in a fire pit in the 4000 block of Norfolk Street.

6/27 12:54 p.m. Two men sitting in a vehicle in the 2400 block of Southslope Way were raising suspicions. Really, they were writing up a job offer.

6/28 3:47 p.m. Kids were shooting squirt guns at a vacant house in the 5800 block of Perrin Street.

6/28 10:19 p.m. A man hiding in bushes in the 1700 block of Blankenship Road was “giving his wife some time alone to work out some issues.”

6/29 6:11 a.m. Three loose chickens were wandering down Imperial Road near Sunset Avenue.

6/29 7:53 a.m. People from Jamaica keep bothering a family in the 4000 block of Calaroga Drive wanting to come visit.

6/29 10:28 p.m. Kids in a car on Debok Road were making “gun-type” noises.


7/1 10:29 p.m. Loud popping was heard outside in the 1700 block of Maple Street and the caller was too frightened to look outside to see if it was fireworks.

7/4 3:37 p.m. When someone complained about loud music near Beam Street and Dillow Drive, the offenders started to play “threatening” music.

7/4 6:11 p.m. A tired skateboarder raised concern when he lay down on the grass near Fields Drive and Ostman Road.

7/2 10:24 a.m. A deer was loitering in the roadway near Chestnut Street and Willamette Falls Drive.

7/2 4:28 p.m. A coyote was bothering chickens in the 2400 block of Dillow Drive. The homeowner was told she could not shoot it if it happened again.

7/3 1:32 p.m. A barking dog was reported in the 2000 block of Sunray Circle. However, an officer learned only cats lived at the suspect home.

7/6 8:57 a.m. Neighbors in the 2400 block of Hughes Drive were threatening workers who were trimming some shrubs.

7/7 11:52 p.m. Kids soaped a fountain in the 22500 block of Ponderay Drive.

7/8 11:55 p.m. A small child was heard yelling inside a home in the 19500 block of Hidden Springs Road. His parents were inside sleeping.

7/9 8:23 p.m. Kids were acting sneaky after they were pulled over by an officer.

7/10 1:18 p.m. A man waving at cars on southbound I-205 on the bridge was deemed suspicious.

7/10 3:47 p.m. Twenty kids were reported drinking beer and smoking pot in the 25400 block of Swiftshore Drive. Officers found the kids well-behaved.

7/11 5:07 a.m. A woman thought someone had harmed her while she was sleeping, but officers determined she had fallen out of bed and hit her head on a nightstand.

7/12 5:10 a.m. Police failed to find what appeared to be a body wrapped in a blanket on northbound I-205 at 10th Street.

7/13 10:16 a.m. Two subjects calling for the impeachment of President Barack Obama raised concern in the 5600 block of Hood Street.

7/14 10:27 p.m. A stepparent worried a homesick 9-year-old child’s crying would concern neighbors.

7/15 1:11 p.m. A man was receiving strange phone calls and then woke up to find Post It notes and lipstick all over his girlfriend’s car.

7/16 10:51 a.m. A suspicious backpack left in the 18600 block of Willamette Drive belonged to a road construction flagger.

7/16 7:32 p.m. A littering driver at Riverview and Sunset avenues promised to return and pick up his trash.

7/17 9:28 a.m. A “dead thing” smell and a gun on a front porch were reported on the 3800 block of Robin Creek Lane. Officers found chicken in the garbage and an air soft gun on the porch.

7/17 1:34 p.m. A citizen came to the police department to get parenting advice.

7/19 10:40 a.m. A suspicious person was pounding on a door in the 2200 block of Sylvan Way. It was a friend knocking.

7/19 7:17 p.m. A ferret let itself into a house in the 6700 block of Larson Avenue.

7/20 10:45 p.m. A stranger answered a phone in the 18000 block of Upper Midhill Drive. Or, callers could have misdialed.

7/21 12:26 p.m. A man in the 6300 block of Barclay Street was on his roof yelling at a neighbor.

7/21 2:30 p.m. A couple was having loud sex with their doors and windows open.

7/23 7:29 p.m. A 20-year-old daughter refused to move out of her parent’s home in the 2600 block of Arbor Drive.

7/24 9:57 a.m. A roommate’s son was locked in a shed lying on a mattress and refusing to leave.

7/25 9:45 a.m. A man missing from the 19700 block of Derby Street was found at the dentist.

7/25 11:57 p.m. A large animal, possibly a tiger, was seen in the slow lane of northbound I-205.

7/27 7:45 p.m. Three girls are suspected of attempted cat theft on the 2500 block of York Street after a missing cat’s collar was found on a neighbor’s lawn.

7/30 10:32 p.m. A report of a disturbance in the 4300 block of Exeter Street was two subjects yelling at a video game.

7/31 3:21 a.m. A suspicious vehicle in the 18400 block of Upper Midhill Drive was an airport pick-up service.


8/1 6:09 p.m. A caller from the 2300 block of Falcon Drive wanted to make sure a large, old TV left in front on a home wasn’t stolen.

8/3 10:59 a.m. Parents advised police which of their children should be in charge while they are out of town.

8/3 12:35 p.m. Trees behind a home on the 2000 block of Virginia Lane are infested with worms.

8/4 10:56 a.m. A “short driver in a big truck” had trouble seeing over the dashboard and was swerving all over I-205 near Willamette Drive.

8/4 11:18 a.m. A woman was stuck in the bathroom at Tanner Creek Park.

8/5 11:06 a.m. Two men firing a gun on the 4500 block of Cedaroak Drive were firing a gun that shoots a fake duck in order to train a hunting dog.

8/7 10:58 a.m. A goat has been heard “crying” near Lewis and Perrin streets for two days.

8/7 8:42 p.m. A man was blocking traffic by standing in the middle of the road drinking beer near Blankenship and Ostman roads.

8/8 10:55 p.m. A pacing woman waiting for a cab at Dillow and Lowry drives raised concern.

8/10 8:58 a.m. A mother is seeking advice on how to have her soon-to-be 18-year-old daughter removed from the house.

8/10 9:50 a.m. A teen female is dancing on walls and generally acting strange on Crescent Drive.

8/10 6:45 p.m. A runaway now wants to be taken home, and he wants two other guys to come along with him.

8/13 8:05 a.m. A 45-year-old woman began performing odd antics on Willamette Falls Drive, waving her arms and jumping in front of traffic. She was warned about this unseemly behavior.

8/13 8:56 p.m. A woman is afraid to complain to her neighbors about their loud power tools.

8/14 12:11 a.m. Young girls at a sleepover were warned about their screaming.

8/18 4:30 a.m. A “children at play” sign was impeding traffic at Noble Lane and Parker Road.

8/20 5:16 p.m. A man became irate after being refused a job application at Shari’s.

8/21 10:22 p.m. Suspected drug activity at Albertsons was just a juvenile with a sandwich bag filled with coins and paper money.

8/22 6:50 p.m. A 12-year-old son was throwing a fit, wrecking a door and refusing to go to football practice because his parents wouldn’t let him use the computer.

8/23 9:24 p.m. A domestic dispute near Failing and Tompkins streets was really just kids on a trampoline.

8/22 9:55 a.m. A neighbor on the 2500 block of York Street apologized after threatening to do in an unconfined cat.

8/24 1:38 a.m. A good guard dog was growling at something or someone in a backyard on the 23000 block of Bland Circle. Police found a family of raccoons.

8/24 1:50 p.m. A boom lift was reported stolen from the 1000 block of Rosemont Road. A repo service inadvertently took the wrong property from the wrong construction site.

8/24 10:20 p.m. A couple located their “stolen” vehicle on the 6000 block West A Street and drove it home.

8/25 7:26 p.m. A man in a mask was seen walking around Bolton Primary School. It was an 11-year-old boy who had found the mask in his basement.

8/28 6:48 p.m. A woman wanted an officer to speak with her 12-year-old son who was refusing to get ready for football.

8/29 12:06 p.m. A daughter on the 2000 block of Dillow Drive was “having a fit.”


9/3 12:16 a.m. A mother suspects her 16-year-old daughter is at a party and the father is covering for her.

9/8 12:57 p.m. A 12-year-old was skateboarding on a playground where little kids play on the 1000 block of Rosemont Road. He is also suspected of peeing behind the wall.

9/8 6:03 p.m. An 11-year-old girl and her father were arguing about the contents of a shoebox.

9/10 8:41 p.m. A boy and girl lying on the ground near Walling Circle and Willamette Drive were waiting for their mom to pick them up.

9/11 11:41 a.m. A dead squirrel was found below a living room window on the 1100 block of Dollar Street. The homeowner suspects the neighbor.

9/11 9:08 p.m. Three teens were hanging out near Oak Street and Riverview Avenue. It was “unknown what they (were) up to.”

9/11 4:47 p.m. A man with a machete was spotted on the 18800 block of Willamette Drive. He was picking blackberries.

9/14 9:24 p.m. A female on the 5200 block of Windsor Terrace was scared a subject was in her house. It was her brother.

9/14 1:26 a.m. A subject found sleeping in a room on the 2000 block of Eight Avenue was an employee catching up on work.

9/14 9:16 a.m. A man suspiciously stashing a bicycle near Hillside Drive and Skye Parkway admitted he hides his bike when he rides the bus so he doesn’t have to lock it up.

9/14 9:15 p.m. Screaming was heard coming from the 2500 block of Hughes Drive. It was a church function.

9/18 11:04 a.m. Two unknown men were in a backyard on the 2400 block of Fifth Avenue. They were PGE workers installing fiber-optic lines.

9/20 9:26 a.m. A suspicious barefoot man was seen at Mary S. Young State Park. The shoeless guy was just going for his morning walk.

9/20 10:39 p.m. A suspiciously parked car at Shari’s was someone checking the restaurant’s takeout menu.

9/20 3:30 p.m. A stray chicken guilty of digging up a neighbor’s yard was found attempting to cross the road on the 1700 block of Regency Street.

9/23 5:23 p.m. Two girls carrying a rabbit in a cat carrier are suspected of attempted cat kidnapping.

9/27 8:20 p.m. A resident on the 4800 block of Summit Street reported feeling sick and blamed it on the smoke coming from a neighbor.

9/27 8:43 p.m. A resident on the 1300 block of Falls Oaks Court was too scared to answer knocking on the door. It was a neighbor saying the resident left a door open.

9/29 10:06 p.m. A suspicious man parked in a vehicle on the 4100 block of Mapleton Drive was waiting to meet someone to go to a wedding.

9/30 8:49 p.m. A couple were moving into a home on the 3900 block of Elmran Drive suspiciously late in the day.


10/1 8:46 p.m. Three teens said to be committing “unknown types of criminal mischief” were found to be normal kids doing no harm.

10/2 2:21 p.m. A caller was concerned about the welfare of a man leaning down in a vehicle near Chestnut Street and Willamette Falls Drive. He was working.

10/5 8:40 a.m. Six marijuana plants were reported stolen from a backyard.

10/6 11:09 p.m. Three teens admitted to ringing a doorbell and then running away in the 3600 block of Landis Drive.

10/7 11:38 p.m. A suspicious subject was reportedly sitting in a parked vehicle on the 1700 block of Sunset Avenue. He was using his cellphone.

10/10 9:14 p.m. A mother is upset with her son in the 2700 block of Warwick Street and is trying to take his cellphone and car keys.

10/12 2:44 p.m. A commercial deep fryer was hanging precariously out of the back of a sedan traveling northbound in I-205 near 10th Street.

10/13 2:25 a.m. A customer at 7-Eleven didn’t believe the clerk when told it was too late to buy alcohol.

10/13 1:01 p.m. A roommate on the 1700 block of Maple Street was not following agreed-on rules.

10/13 10:53 p.m. A suspected burglar on the 5500 block of McKillican Lane was a father coming home and opening a window.

10/15 6:46 a.m. A home’s exterior lights were flashing on the 4500 block of Damon Drive. They were Halloween decorations.

10/15 9:28 p.m. A 9-1-1 call from the 1700 block of Blankenship Road was someone trying to call “Dancing With the Stars.”

10/18 7:54 p.m. A door was open and lights were on at New Life Church. A prayer meeting was in progress.

10/19 9:51 a.m. Loud music from a children’s event at Hammerle Park was obnoxious.

10/20 9:34 p.m. A teen was acting suspicious by hiding in the bushes on the 25500 block of Cheryl Drive.

10/24 8:38 p.m. An unknown person was in a backyard shed on the 6500 block of Beam Street. It was the caller’s husband.

10/27 2:45 a.m. A man called police saying his children were hungry and he wanted the news crews and police to come to his home.

10/30 10:14 p.m. A suspected prowler in the 2200 block of Crestview Drive was a basketball that fell off a shelf.

10/31 6:34 a.m. A next-door neighbor in the 19300 block of Robin Circle is running a dishwasher and it is too loud.


11/3 4:33 p.m. Three roughhousing boys at Rosemont Ridge Middle School raised concern when two boys sat on the other one.

11/3 11:31 p.m. Thinking there was a prowler in her home, a woman set off a fire alarm. She later learned it was her own children in the house.

11/4 3:04 p.m. A van stopping at houses near Bland Circle and Tannler Drive was suspicious. The driver was delivering political ads.

11/5 1:53 p.m. An aggressive man in the 5200 block of Broadway Street wanted to rake leaves.

11/9 8:49 p.m. Paranormal investigators were visiting the 2200 block of Crestview Drive.

11/10 7:38 a.m. An injured deer was seen in a backyard in the 18700 block of Rose Way. It was later spotted jumping fences.

11/17 5:06 p.m. A vehicle repeatedly backed up a driveway in the 4100 block of Cornwall Street and ran over the homeowner’s rock.

11/30 7:46 a.m. A number of reports came in about a woman dancing in a lane of traffic on northbound I-205 near the viewpoint.

11/30 8:53 a.m. The dancing woman was seen yelling and screaming at vehicles in the 22000 block of Willamette Drive.


12/1 4:42 p.m. A man at Midhill Park suspiciously picked up a brown paper bag from the curb near the park entrance.

12/7 11:25 a.m. A 96-year-old woman in the 1400 block of Buck Street caused concern when she didn’t answer the door for Meals on Wheels. She couldn’t hear the knocking.

12/7 9:37 p.m. A resident feared an egging after seeing juveniles running around near Maxfield Drive and Winkel Way.

12/13 3:15 p.m. A suspected burglary in the 1800 block of Sixth Avenue was just a painting falling to the floor and breaking.

12/14 12:59 p.m. A sidewalk in front of a residence in the 2300 block of Michael Drive was reported unswept.

12/14 6:10 p.m. A resident near Blankenship Road and Virginia Lane gets sworn at and threatened by a man every time he walks past.

12/14 11:42 p.m. Three teens were sitting on a curb near the library.

12/15 6:14 p.m. A “pudgy” male wearing a dark jacket was seen standing between two homes in the 2700 block of Lancaster Street.

12/16 7:44 p.m. A woman sitting in a vehicle with fogged up windows in the 22000 block of Salamo Road was waiting for someone.

12/18 8:35 a.m. A resident in the 2800 block of Mark Lane reports trying to cancel his subscription to The Oregonian at least 10 times but it keeps being delivered. He feels harassed.
