Devlin named to trio of Senate posts

Sen. Richard Devlin, D-Tualatin, has been appointed to three Oregon Senate committees for 2013.
Devlin, whose Senate District 19 includes Lake Oswego, West Linn and portions of Southwest Portland, will serve as co-chairman of the Joint Ways & Means Committee. His fellow co-chairwoman is Sen. Betsy Johnson. Devlin has served in this capacity on Ways & Means in both regular and special sessions since 2011.
Devlin also was named to the Capital Construction Sub-Committee and to the Public Safety Sub-Committee.
