ACCIDENTS

2/8 11:58 a.m. An accident with unknown injuries was reported on northbound I-205 at Blankenship Road.

2/11 1:44 p.m. A woman feared she caused an accident on southbound I-205 at Highway 43 after slamming on her brakes.

2/14 4:07 p.m. A woman was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street at Rosemont Road and Santa Anita Drive. The driver did not stop.

BURLGARY

2/13 10:30 a.m. An apartment in the 1700 block of Maple Street was ransacked. A flat-screen TV and two laptops were taken.

THEFTS

2/9 6:35 a.m. A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 2500 block of Beacon Hill Drive. An iPad was taken after a window was smashed.

2/9 6:02 p.m. A window of a vehicle was broken in the 1800 block of Radcliffe Court. A thief attempted to steal the stereo.

2/10 11:37 a.m. A man took a bike for a ride from a garage sale in the 3400 block of Coeur d’Alene Drive and never returned.

2/11 10:44 a.m. Gas was siphoned from a vehicle in the 2200 block of Fifth Avenue.

2/11 5:33 p.m. A Honda Accord was stolen from the Pacific West Bank parking lot.

2/12 11:21 p.m. The Honda Accord was recovered in Salem.

2/14 8:03 a.m. A UPS package was reported stolen from the 20000 block of Larkspur Lane.

2/14 9:25 a.m. Items were dumped in a Dumpster in the 1600 block of Village Park Place.

2/14 2:30 p.m. An attempted theft of license plates was reported in the 2100 block of Fifth Avenue.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

2/8 6:38 a.m. A man attempting to walk to Salem was given a bus pass after being found on southbound I-205 near the bridge.

2/8 12:22 p.m. A vehicle quickly pulled up to a home in the 2600 block of York Street, snapped a photo of the home and then sped off.

2/8 8:37 p.m. A pushy subject barged into a home in the 2800 block of Jolie Pointe Road saying he was there for a meeting. He was at the wrong house.

2/9 10:55 a.m. An unemployed man in the 18100 block of Shady Hollow Way was deemed suspicious after asking a homeowner if she needed any work done.

2/9 3:11 p.m. A dozen gunshots were heard in the 1400 block of 12th Street.

2/9 10:01 p.m. A loud party was annoying others in the 19600 block of Sun Circle.

2/11 3:14 p.m. A resident near Parker and Salamo roads is concerned about people jaywalking before and after church on Sundays.

2/11 6:14 p.m. A bitter ex-partner is sending threatening text messages to a resident in the 21700 block of Salamo Road.

2/11 6:27 p.m. A man selling meat from a van in the 3000 block of Kensington Court did not have a license.

2/11 7:04 p.m. A man in a gray sweatshirt in the 1100 block of 12th Street was suspiciously wearing a ski mask.

2/12 2:20 p.m. Suspicious men in orange work vests were near an apartment at 13th Street and Eighth Avenue.

2/13 6:02 a.m. Early-morning power washing irritated residents in the 22700 block of Salamo Road.

2/13 2:53 p.m. A suspicious man was seen staring at Bolton Primary School. It was a special needs adult.

2/13 4:56 p.m. Young kids were throwing paper airplanes at a vehicle in the 1900 block of Rockridge Drive.

2/13 10:40 p.m. A loud boom was heard in the 2100 block of Greene Street.

2/13 10:58 p.m. A “transient-looking subject” was trying to direct traffic at Hidden Springs Court and Santa Anita Drive.

2/14 9:01 a.m. A rear windshield wiper was broken and a license plate was bent in the 1500 block of 10th Street.

2/14 5:22 p.m. An antenna was ripped off a truck in the 2100 block of Fifth Avenue.

ANIMAL ANTICS

2/14 2:03 p.m. A dog attacked another dog at Mary S. Young State Park.
