Driver mistakes gas for brake, car hits Safeway

Mistaking the gas for the brake, an elderly driver ran into the front of Safeway this afternoon.
At 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, West Linn police responded to a call of an accident.
Luckily, no one was injured when Lois Oberdorf inadvertently drove onto the sidewalk and into the wall of the Salamo Road grocery.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and no citations were issued.
