ACCIDENTS

3/1 2:10 p.m. A hit-and-run accident in the 19100 block of Willamette Drive sent one driver to the hospital and the other was cited for careless driving.

3/3 7:37 a.m. A vehicle ran into a pole at Rosemont Road and Station Lane.

3/5 3:58 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported.

3/6 12:44 p.m. An accident involving injuries occurred at Linn Lane and Rosemont Road.

3/7 4:02 a.m. An accident occurred on northbound I-205 near the viewpoint.

THEFTS

3/3 8:47 p.m. A toolbox was reported stolen from the 19200 block of View Drive.

3/4 11:49 p.m. A pair of aviator sunglasses was stolen from the 5600 block of Hood Street.

3/5 8:09 p.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 2100 block of Charman Street.

FRAUD

3/1 10:49 a.m. Someone filed taxes with a resident’s Social Security number.

3/6 3:10 p.m. A random person arrived on a doorstep in the 5600 block of Summit Street fraudulently delivering a collection notice for $5,000.

3/7 2 p.m. An estranged husband forged his wife’s name on checks totaling $130.98.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

3/1 5:35 a.m. A rude neighbor in the 2200 block of Charman Street repeatedly blocks another neighbor’s vehicle.

3/1 1:11 p.m. A suspicious man keeps knocking on a door in the 23000 block of Bland Circle.

3/1 5:16 p.m. A man and women were disputing over the discipline of their children.

3/1 6:40 p.m. An argumentative solicitor was not making any sales in the 2100 block of Marylhurst Drive.

3/1 6:45 p.m. A suspicious vehicle keeps parking in the 2100 block of Sunset Avenue.

3/1 8:40 p.m. A large party in the 3400 block of Barrington Drive brought in way too many vehicles.

3/2 9:31 p.m. The gate to the skate park on Parker Road was found unlocked.

3/3 2:17 a.m. Residents were being loud by “yelling and banging things.”

3/3 2:09 p.m. A large, blue exercise ball was quite an obstacle for vehicles on northbound I-205 near Highway 43.

3/3 5:27 p.m. A resident reported being hit in the head an elbow by a neighbor.

3/4 8:45 p.m. A man in the 3300 block of Fairview Way is missing his keys after a suspicious man came to his door the day prior. He called back having found his keys.

3/4 11:07 a.m. A woman in the 2800 block of Beacon Hill Drive paid a man to fix her stove but he hasn’t done the work.

3/4 12:17 p.m. Subjects at the skate park were listening to music too loud.

3/4 4:17 p.m. A vehicle passed by another on the sidewalk on 10th Street near I-205.

3/4 4:51 p.m. A son walking home from school in the 4400 block of Cornwall Street was yelled at by high schoolers.

3/4 7:27 p.m. A possible solicitor in the 4200 block of Mapleton Drive walked away after the homeowner refused to answer the door and told him to go away.

3/4 9:26 a.m. Broken glass was found in a yard in the 2600 block of Lancaster Street. The neighbors are suspected.

3/5 12:04 p.m. A vehicle was seen driving on its rims in the 3500 block of Willamette Falls Drive.

3/5 2:03 p.m. Clinton James Mayes, 35, registered as a sex offender.

3/5 2:19 p.m. Road rage between a bicyclist and a pedestrian was reported near Calaroga Circle and Calaroga Drive.

3/5 4:03 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was parked in front of a home in the 18900 block of Walling Circle.

3/5 4:14 p.m. A “strange” subject was walking around the 1600 block of April Court.

3/5 7:30 p.m. A window was smashed out of a vehicle in the 22000 block of Salamo Road.

3/5 8:11 p.m. A subject walking southbound on I-205 near 10th Street was deemed suspicious.

3/5 9:05 p.m. Someone parked in the 1900 block of Furlong Drive talking on the phone drew suspicion.

3/6 9:34 a.m. A resident sought police advice on dealing with a neighborhood problem.

3/6 12:21 p.m. A woman is harassing a family in the 19500 block of Hidden Springs Road.

3/6 3:10 p.m. An man is sending threatening text messages to his ex-wife.

3/6 4:11 p.m. A man near Sunset Avenue and Willamette Falls Drive “seems confused.”

3/6 4:33 p.m. Someone posted a picture of a man’s daughter on an adult website.

3/6 9:44 p.m. A man was trying to open the doors at Rosemont Ridge Middle School.

3/7 12:25 p.m. Cash totaling $100 was found at Safeway.

3/7 1:48 p.m. Unknown men were trying to access a yard in the 6200 block of Barlow Street. They were men a woman’s husband called to inspect their deck.

3/7 7:16 p.m. A rock was thrown through a window in the 4100 block of Imperial Drive. Neighbor kids confessed.

ANIMAL ANTICS

3/1 9:49 a.m. Someone placed a dead opossum on a woman’s car door and left incriminating gloves behind.

3/1 1:09 p.m. Owners of unleashed dogs in the 1200 block of Rosemont Road yelled at a woman when asked to restrain them.

3/1 2:30 p.m. An injured seal was seen on the rocks upriver from Cedar Island at Mary S. Young State Park.

3/7 6:35 p.m. A woman in the 2200 block of Fifth Avenue worries about the safety of her barking dog after receiving a nasty note complaining about it.
