Whole community celebrates as boys snag state title

“With 30 seconds left to go, all of a sudden the entire Lion Country stood up,” Principal Lou Bailey wrote in an email to parents. “Our student section, students and families in the upper sections, everyone in the lower sections on the sides of the court, and every staff member who attended all rose as one. It was amazing to stand on the floor and realize that our Lion Country extended past half court and into the other team’s section and it consumed most of the court. We absolutely surrounded the Rose Garden with Lion fanatics!”
