Joanna Campa, Dylan Digby, Nancy Evett and Zach Pelz honored at citys employee recognition event

The city of West Linn recognized four employees with certificates of appreciation at the annual employee recognition event last month.

Joanna Campa, Dylan Digby, Nancy Evett and Zach Pelz were honored for their contributions to the municipal agency and recognized in front of their peers for their awards.

City Manager Chris Jordan presented the awards to each employee. He noted that this is the first time the city has awarded certificates of appreciation based on merit, rather than longevity. The recognition of these employees was done “to reinforce the exemplary service that city employees strive to provide to the West Linn community,” according to Jordan.

Joanna Campa is a West Linn Public Library employee. Jordan cited her unwavering support and consistent customer service during times of transition at the library.

Dylan Digby works in engineering, and during his tenure he has been assigned a wide variety of tasks, ranging from work in the field to work in the office. Jordan noted his positive, can-do attitude and his recent, impressive management of the city’s capital improvement plan update as the reasons for his award.

Nancy Evett manages the second floor front counter at city hall. According to Jordan, her calm, polite demeanor and her welcoming smile to all callers and visitors to city hall leaves a lasting impression on West Linn citizens.

Zach Pelz is a West Linn planner. His recent work on complex land use applications, combined with his willingness to try new and innovative ways to engage the community on community development issues were cited by Jordan as the reasons for his award.
