BURGLARY

8/6 7:39 a.m. A vehicle was rifled through after a garage door was left open overnight in the 3800 block of Calaroga Drive. Change was taken.

THEFTS

8/5 12:01 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2400 block of Remington Drive.

8/7 10:31 p.m. A bicycle was stolen from Willamette Terrace Apartments in the 1700 block of Blankenship Road.

8/8 2:39 p.m. A bicycle was stolen from a front porch in the 4600 block of Pine Street.

FRAUD

8/5 11:49 a.m. Fraud was reported in the 21500 block of Willamette Drive.

8/5 5:52 p.m. A mother in the 3800 block of Ridgewood Way fell for a Facebook scam.

8/8 6:23 p.m. Fraud was reported in the 19800 block of Suncrest Drive.

ACCIDENTS

8/3 9:33 a.m. An accident was reported at Hood Street and Willamette Drive.

8/5 11:34 a.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported at Journeay Court and Wild Rose Way. A driver backed into a street sign.

8/6 9:10 p.m. An accident was reported at Renaissance Court and Summit Street. A driver was cited for failure to drive within the lane.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

8/2 8:10 a.m. Two suspicious men entering a home in the 2900 block of Winkel Way were there to install a gas line for a barbecue.

8/2 8:39 a.m. Police responded to a call in the 18500 block of Rose Court of a child stuck in a chair.

8/2 8:42 a.m. A tree was damaged in the 1900 block of Buck Street.

8/2 2:13 p.m. Parents left a napping child in a vehicle to have lunch at Lil’ Cooperstown.

8/2 5:12 p.m. Two boys in the 1600 block of April Court were throwing rocks at a house.

8/2 7:40 p.m. An aggressive solicitor in the 2600 block of Gloria Drive wasn’t winning any customers.

8/2 10:55 p.m. Cars were spinning their tires at Tanner Creek Park.

8/3 1:44 p.m. A man near Cornwall and Lancaster streets seemed lost and disoriented.

8/3 8:20 p.m. A man was seen masturbating in the bushes at Mary S. Young State Park.

8/4 12:58 a.m. Two gunshots were heard in the 19700 block of Suncrest Drive.

8/4 3:24 a.m. Two roommates wrestling were raising a ruckus in the 4300 block of Exeter Street.

8/4 12:54 p.m. Kids on a dock in the 18400 block of Nixon Avenue were throwing mud.

8/4 8:59 p.m. A boy was running down southbound Interstate 205 near 10th Street and was chased by an adult male.

8/4 9:46 p.m. A neighbor in the 2000 block of Fields Drive stares and yells at neighborhood children and uses a ladder to look over a fence.

8/5 10:49 a.m. A woman in the 2200 block of Fifth Avenue routinely trespasses onto a neighbor’s property.

8/5 7:47 p.m. A mother reported that her 16-year-old son was hitting and destroying things.

8/6 12:17 a.m. Someone near 10th Street and Interstate 205 is pointing a laser light at planes.

8/6 7:31 p.m. A small child caused a scare near Blankenship and Debok roads after sneaking out of the house.

8/7 11:30 a.m. A man standing on the Abernethy Bridge looking at the water drew concern.

8/7 3:34 p.m. A subject was seen pushing a grocery cart near Mapleton Drive and Nixon Avenue and taking pictures of houses.

8/7 8:37 p.m. Kids were warned to stay off the roof of Cedaroak Park Primary School.

8/8 2:14 a.m. Four juveniles were cited and released for minor in possession violations near 12th Street and Fifth Avenue.

8/8 8:26 a.m. A subject has been sleeping in a vehicle overnight in a parking lot in the 22500 block of Salamo Road.

ANIMAL ANTICS

8/2 9:20 p.m. A fawn was stuck in a backyard in the 1300 block of Troon Drive.

8/6 6:58 a.m. A coyote was seen attacking a cat near Exeter Street and Sunset Avenue.
