Council appoints citizens to slew of boards
During its Jan. 23 meeting, the West Linn City Council appointed citizens to a variety of boards and committees.
E. Ann Frazier and Bill Hill were appointed to the Citizens' Budget Committee; Jim Mattis was selected for the Clackamas Cable Access Board; Jesse Knight was chosen for the Economic Development Committee; Thane Eddington was appointed to the Historic Review Board; Mary Jo Steele was chosen for the Library Board; Don Kingsborough and Todd Jones were selected for the Parks and Recreation Board; Thomas Frank and Russell Axelrod will serve on the Planning Commission; Thomas Freedland, Dennis Richey and Grant Oakes will serve on the Public Safety Advisory Board; Nicole Alexander, Glen Friedman and Clare Bean will serve on the Sustainability Advisory Board; and Michael Monical was appointed to the Utility Advisory Board.
Ed Keonjian volunteered to renew his three-year term on the South Fork Water Board and the council accepted.
There are still a few vacancies to fill, including five seats on the Economic Development Committee, one seat on the Historic Review Board, one on the Library Board and one on the Transportation Advisory Board.
