Do you have a good story about a bizarre birth?

Were you delivered in an elevator or a cab?

Or maybe you gave birth to many more children than planned?

Maybe you didn't even know you were pregnant in the first place?

As part of our annual Perspective edition, the staffs of the Lake Oswego Review and West Linn Tidings are busy gathering ideas based on the theme 'Untold Stories.'

We're looking for help from the community in uncovering readers' best stories about unusual ways people came into this world, whether weird, wacky or miraculous.

Sharing stories about this topic offers a way for you to add to the array of tales that will be featured in the special edition.

So, if you, a family member or a friend has a unique, entertaining or exciting 'untold story' about a birth, send it to us for consideration.

Stories can be emailed to Tidings editor Nicole DeCosta at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or dropped off to the newspaper office, located at 400 Second St. in Lake Oswego. The deadline for these stories is Wednesday.
