THEFTS

4/26 12:49 p.m. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the Hidden Springs area.

4/26 4:05 p.m. A thief was apprehended at Market of Choice on the 5600 block of Hood Street.

5/1 1:13 a.m. A bottle of wine was stolen in the Bolton area.

5/1 1:57 p.m. A chicken thief was apprehended at Market of Choice on the 5600 block of Hood Street.

5/2 1:05 p.m. Jewelry was stolen from a box at a home in the Savanna Oaks area.

ACCIDENTS

4/26 5:28 p.m. A hit-and-run accident occurred at the 22000 block of Salamo Road.

4/30 7:03 a.m. A traffic accident occurred on Southbound Interstate 205 near West Linn.

4/30 5:57 p.m. A traffic accident occurred at the 1100 block of 12 Street.

5/1 6:56 a.m. A two-vehicle accident occurred on Southbound Interstate 205 near Highway 43.

5/1 7:12 a.m. A hit-and-run accident occurred on Southbound Interstate 205 near 10th Street.

5/1 8:36 a.m. A vehicle swerved off the road near the 800 block of Willamette Falls Drive.

5/1 5:42 p.m. A driver’s vehicle was rear-ended at the 19100 block of Willamette Drive and it was believed the other driver was disoriented.

5/2 7:02 p.m. A hit-and-run accident took place at the 1300 block of 8th Street.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

4/26 2:00 p.m. A woman said a car was parked near a mailbox at the 1100 block of Blankenship Road, forcing cars to swerve around it. Officers found the claim to be unfounded.

4/26 2:16 p.m. A man was walking up the hill near 10th Street and Salamo Drive when a car pulled up and a man assaulted him. Officers located the parties, who said nothing happened.

4/26 8:33 p.m. A woman said she and her children were almost struck by a driver while walking in a crosswalk. The driver then stopped to yell at her.

4/27 3:58 a.m. Banging sounds and flashes were reported near the 6500 block of Failing Street. They were caused by downed power lines.

4/27 12:49 p.m. A suspicious-looking man was seen with a small child on the roadside near Northbound Interstate 205 and 10th Street.

4/27 4:29 p.m. Two men were yelling at each other in a parking lot at the 1700 block of Knapps Alley.

4/27 4:34 p.m. A resident at the 1600 block of Village Park Place reported an ongoing problem with a neighbor throwing garbage over the hill onto her property.

4/28 1:23 a.m. A woman said she saw flashlights in her side yard. Officers found nothing suspicious.

4/28 9:25 a.m. A woman said she lost her passport.

4/28 10:34 a.m. An abandoned utility trailer full of junk was parked at Carriage Way and Derby Court.

4/28 3:22 p.m. A large orange hose was in the traffic lane at southbound Interstate 205 near Blankenship Road.

4/28 4:31 p.m. A woman called to report her 3-year old daughter was missing. She found the child in her house before officers arrived.

4/28 8:50 p.m. A resident said a woman was standing outside his home, throwing cigarette butts and challenging the residents to come outside. They did not know the woman.

4/29 9:13 a.m. A suspected transient was going through the trash at Mary S. Young Park.

4/29 10:56 a.m. A man was yelling while walking up and down the road near the 6300 block of Barclay Street.

4/29 11:58 a.m. A man was sitting on a boulder near the road at Parker Road and Wild Rose Drive.

4/29 12:44 p.m. A customer at Shari’s on the 2100 block of 8th Court matched the description of the lottery theft suspect in Portland. The customer left before police arrived.

4/29 3:45 p.m. Two women in a white SUV were videotaping people at the US Bank ATM on the 19100 block of Willamette Drive.

4/29 6:53 p.m. A suspicious-looking man approached a lacrosse player at the 19900 block of Willamette Drive.

4/30 8:58 a.m. A woman believed someone was coming to arrest her husband. It was a scam.

4/30 10:37 a.m. A man stopped a woman on the street and asked if she had seen him on the news. He said people were chasing him and he didn’t know why.

4/30 11:45 a.m. A woman who had started her job the day before did not show up to work. The employer was concerned for her well being.

4/30 2:09 p.m. Sports equipment was left on the street near the 6600 block of Failing Street.

4/30 2:41 p.m. Overgrown weeds were seen at the 5600 block of Summit Street.

4/30 2:52 p.m. A storage unit was reported in a driveway at the 700 block of Marylhurst Drive.

4/30 4:45 p.m. A man at Great Clips on the 1800 block of Blankenship Road had been there for an hour and seemed to be nodding off.

4/30 4:47 p.m. A wallet was lost at Palomino Park.

4/30 4:56 p.m. A tipster said 10 underage people were smoking and drinking on the Willamette Boat Ramp. The claim was unfounded.

4/30 5:04 p.m. A man was seen falling asleep at the wheel on northbound Interstate 205.

5/1 11:49 a.m. A resident was having an ongoing problem with criminal mischief and garbage being dumped near Holmes and Randall Street.

5/1 2:48 p.m. A resident at the 5000 block of Broadway Street found credit cards in the bushes.

5/1 4:18 p.m. A man was texting while driving on northbound Interstate 205. When another driver honked, he flipped the driver off.

5/1 6:20 p.m. A truck on southbound Interstate 205 near West Linn had sand and gravel falling out of its trailer, causing other cars to swerve.

5/1 7:57 p.m. A dark van was driving around and taking pictures of houses near Barnes Circle and Greene Street.

5/1 11:17 p.m. Five youth were swinging on a gate near the 5400 block of West A Street.

5/2 9:49 a.m. Residents were receiving unwanted, angry text messages from their son.

5/2 10:02 a.m. A rusty old dirt bike was being ridden around near the McLean House, tearing up the park. Officers found no damage.

5/2 1:07 p.m. A man in a white SUV appeared to be lost and confused, and was driving around and hitting curbs near Ponderay Drive and Salamo Road. The claim was unfounded.

5/2 8:38 p.m. A man said his neighbor was trespassing on his property near the 2200 block of 5th Avenue.

5/2 9:58 p.m. A suspicious-looking vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside near the 5300 block of Windsor Terrace.

5/2 10:33 p.m. Fireworks were heard in the area near Canemah Street and Riverview Avenue.

ANIMAL ANTICS

5/1 2:21 p.m. A dog had been barking “for days” in a backyard near 5th Avenue and 8th Street.
