Authorities recently filed reports on the following incidents:

THEFTS

5/17 10:48 a.m. Several rings and a quarter collection were stolen from a home in the Barrington Heights neighborhood.

5/18 1:43 p.m. A theft was reported at Market of Choice.

5/20 8:32 a.m. A bow and arrow set, .22 caliber pistol, man purse, tools, knife and flashlight were stolen from a garage in the Hidden Springs area.

5/21 8:13 a.m. Various items were taken from a vehicle in the Willamette area.

5/22 10:06 a.m. A pair of frames was stolen from Forbes Optical Studio

FRAUD

5/19 2:04 p.m. A contractor said another contractor used his name and Construction Contractors Board number to get a municipal contract with the school district, then defaulted on the contract.

5/22 5:41 p.m. Fraud was reported in the Bolton area.

5/23 8:30 a.m. A woman was contacted about someone else filing her tax return.

ACCIDENTS

5/19 5:20 p.m. A two-vehicle accident occurred near the 18800 block of Willamette Drive.

5/20 12:21 p.m. A three-vehicle accident occurred on Southbound Interstate 205 near Highway 43.

5/20 1:22 p.m. A motorcycle crash occurred at the intersection of Parker Road and Salamo Road.

5/23 11:01 a.m. Two vehicles collided on Southbound Interstate 205 near Highway 43.

5/23 5:10 p.m. A one-car accident was reported near the 22900 block of Willamette Drive.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

5/17 12:59 a.m. A man on methamphetamines was taken to detox.

5/17 2:30 p.m. A driver was followed by a car that closed on her rapidly and then paced her in the next lane.

5/17 5:08 p.m. Extra patrols were requested at Marl’s Flowers after a subject threatened to take the sign outside.

5/18 2:41 a.m. Loud talking was heard in the area near the 2400 block of Buck Street, possibly from a party in the area.

5/18 4 p.m. A blue motorcycle was seen speeding up and down the street near the 3000 block of Club House Court.

5/18 8:03 p.m. A woman said her drunk neighbor came over, possibly looking for drugs.

5/18 8:57 p.m. A woman said someone was moving benches around on her property, and that she wanted to shoot whoever was doing it. She was advised not to shoot the subjects and call 911 instead.

5/18 9:18 p.m. A suspicious looking woman carrying a spray paint can was walking toward the bridge near the 5300 block of River Street.

5/19 2:09 a.m. A man was upset about a construction crew working outside his home. The crew had a permit and the work could not be done during the day.

5/19 7:59 a.m. A suspicious pipe that looked like a bomb was found on a picnic table at Marylhurst Heights Park. It was a geocache.

5/19 8:10 a.m. A woman believed that someone was inside the McLean House. The front door was open and a purse was on the floor. No one was inside, and the purse was left over from a church service.

5/19 2:50 p.m. A man said he had received two obscene phone calls from two different numbers within the last ten minutes.

5/19 10:21 p.m. A man said a loud party had been going on across the street for three days.

5/19 10:28 p.m. An anonymous tipster said West Linn High School students were planning to go to Wilsonville High School, and vice versa, for a senior prank.

5/19 10:49 p.m. A woman said a suspicious person was carrying signs through a parking lot and blocking the pathway with them. Police found no evidence of the deed.

5/20 9:56 a.m. A man who appeared to be getting ready to jump off a bridge was actually a photographer.

5/20 3:21 p.m. A woman said she was receiving suspicious calls about her tax returns from 2007 to 2012. Police determined the calls were part of a scam.

5/20 5:16 p.m. A woman was concerned that her neighbor was a drug dealer. Police determined the call to be unfounded.

5/21 7:37 a.m. A large white bag was seen in the fast lane near the 10th Street exit on Southbound Interstate 205.

5/21 11:55 a.m. An old wine bottle containing a “blue-ish” chemical and stuffed with cloth and paper was seen at Maddax Woods. The chemical was actually water tinted by blue ink.

5/21 3:23 p.m. A caller was concerned that the weeds behind Safeway on Salamo Road were more than four feet tall.

5/21 3:41 p.m. 10 high school-aged kids were being “rude and mouthy” to adults and children at Tanner Creek Park.

5/21 5:36 p.m. Girls clothing and a piece of paper with a girl’s name on it was seen near a slide at Willamette Park. It was a Girl Scout uniform.

5/21 7:01 p.m. Loud music was heard from a car at McDonalds on the 18800 block of Willamette Drive.

5/22 10:25 a.m. A contractor was accusing a man of having one of his tools.

5/23 9:56 a.m. A man said he recieved a call from a “foreign sounding” man who said the police were on their way to arrest him because of issues with the IRS.

5/23 5:37 p.m. A suspicious looking man had been sitting in his car for 15 minutes near the 21100 block of Salamo Road.

5/23 10:54 p.m. A suspicious looking, yet nondescript vehicle entered Robinwood Community Park. The occupants of the vehicle were having a milkshake.

ANIMAL ANTICS

5/20 8:35 p.m. An injured raccoon who was possibly missing a foot was see near Upper Midhill Drive and College Hill Place.

5/23 8:44 a.m. A man said his cat was killed by coyotes.
