I laughed out loud at two of the entries under the Sept. 27 “ANIMAL ANTICS” (in the Tidings police log). They are worth repeating: “9/17 9:31 a.m. An opossum wasn’t just playing dead on the 6000 block of West A Street”; and “9/20 3:30 p.m. A stray chicken guilty of digging up a neighbor’s yard was found attempting to cross the road on the 1700 block of Regency Street.” Likewise, the “LIFE IN WEST LINN” section is often better than any comic strip.
