Fire destroys Wilsonville home and barn

After multiple barn fires last weekend another structure burns in north Wilsonville


by: COURTESY TUALATIN VALLEY FIRE AND RESCUE - This barn and residence off Grahams Ferry Road in northwest Wilsonville caught fire this afternoon. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue crews responded to a barn and residential fire around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon at 26920 SW Graham’s Ferry Road in Wilsonville.

According to the TVFR PulsePoint smart phone app, which provides incident information, as well as the district's Twitter feed (@TVFR), the blaze, north of the intersection of Grahams Ferry and Tooze roads on the west side of the city, drew over a dozen fire engines and other emergency vehicles from TVF&R stations in Wilsonville and further afield.

The fire reportedly destroyed a barn and an attached residence, which are located at the end of a long driveway east of Grahams Ferry Road proper. No injuries have been reported, although several pets were reportedly killed. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
