Take Clackamas County community survey online

Clackamas County residents are invited to go online and take the 2014 Clackamas County Community Survey.

The countywide survey, compiled by DHM research, measures public attitudes about county services and major issues of importance. DHM Research conducted a telephone survey of Clackamas County residents using the same questions contained in the online survey.

Citizens can take the survey at clackamas.us. The survey will remain online through April 4.

For those who want to complete a paper copy of the survey, send a request to Clackamas County Public and Government Affairs, 2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City, OR 97045 or call 503-655-8751.

Music Together classes accepting registrations

Willamette Valley Music Together is now accepting registrations for its spring semester music classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their parents or other caregivers. Music Together family classes will be held Tuesday mornings in Wilsonville at Music Man Studio and Wednesday mornings in Hubbard at the Hubbard Chapel. Classes begin April 1 and meet for 10 weeks. Each session is 45 minutes long.

According to center director Wendy Reznicsek, classes involve both children and parents or other caregivers in informal singing, chanting, moving, listening and instrument playing activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children. Continuing the activities informally at home is made easier by the CD, songbook and parent education materials included with tuition.

For more information on classes in the local area, offered by Willamette Valley Music Together, visit valleykidsmusic.com or call 971-678-6742.
