FBI looking for 'Sporty Spice' suspect after Wilsonville robbery
The FBI, Tigard Police Department and the Wilsonville Police Department are searching for a serial bank robber who has been nicknamed the "Sporty Spice" bandit. The suspect is believed to have robbed a Key Bank branch in Tigard June 2 and a Wilsonville branch near the 9000 block of S.W. Wilsonville Road on June 7. The robber was armed with a hand gun during the Tigard heist, but no weapon was seen during the Wilsonville robbery.
The FBI described the suspect as a white male, age 20-40, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10, with a slender build and short black hair. Investigators are nicknaming him the "Sporty Spice" bandit for his choice of sports-related apparel, including an Under Armor black jacket and a khaki-colored Adidas cap.
