School concerts to get toes tapping


There are only three weeks of school in December, with students, teachers and staff in Wilsonville schools packing a whole lot of fun and learning into a relatively short time. One thing they’re working on: holiday concerts and performances.

If you’re in the mood for a little holiday spirit, find the school closest to you and get ready to tap your toes and hum along.

Dec. 5: Inza R. Wood Middle School band concert, 7 p.m. in the Wood gym.

Dec. 10: West Linn-Wilsonville primary schools strings winter concert, 7 p.m. at Athey Creek Middle School.

Dec. 12: Boones Ferry Primary School Dragonfly and Dragonfly Singers Concert, 6:30 p.m. in the Flora Gym.

Dec. 16: Lowrie Primary School Choir Concert and Community Sing-A-Long, 6:30 p.m. at Lowrie.

Dec. 16: Wilsonville High School’s Holiday Choir Concert starts at 7 p.m. in the WHS auditorium.

Dec. 16: Inza R. Wood orchestra concert, 7 p.m. on the Wood stage.

Dec. 17: Boeckman Creek Primary School choir concert, 7 p.m. at Boeckman Creek.

Dec. 18: Wilsonville High School’s Holiday Band/Orchestra performance starts at 7 p.m. in the WHS auditorium.

Dec. 19: Inza R. Wood Small Ensemble performs at ZooLights at 5:45 p.m. at the Oregon Zoo.
