Michael Harper

(age 56)

Harper played for the Trail Blazers from 1980-82.

He was a 6-10, 215-pound forward out of Chicago and North Park University.

Harper (nickname “Grasshopper”) started 38 games in his second season with the Blazers, who drafted him in the third round, No. 56 overall, in 1980.

Harper went on to play six years of pro ball in Europe, then worked for the Blazers as director of their speakers bureau.
