The North and South baseball rosters for the annual Reser’s All-Star Series include Central Catholic pitcher Cole Stringer and Rams outfielder Eamon McNeil and Lincoln shortstop Nate Ostmo (North).

The series consists of three games, June 13 and 14, at Goss Stadium in Corvallis — 7 p.m. Saturday single game and 11 a.m. Sunday doubleheader.

New Portland State women’s basketball coach Lynn Kennedy has a batch of incoming players, two of whom will have to sit out the 2015-16 season per NCAA transfer rules

Guard Bree Shepard, 5-7 freshman, San Diego, Calif.

Guard Sidney Rielly, 5-11 sophomore, Everett (Wash.) High/Santa Clara

Guard Ashley Torres Negron, junior, Morovis, Puerto Rick/Highland (Kan.) Community College

Guard-forward Ashley Bolston, 6-2 sophomore, South Medford High/Washington State

Forward Te Oramae Solomon, 5-11 junior, Auckland, Austrailia/Cochise College (Sierra Vista, Ariz.)

Forward Pia Jurhar, 6-3 freshman, Vienna, Austria

Bolston and Rielly aren’t eligible to play until 2016-17.

James and Shepard signed with the Vikings in November.
