1 injured in Sellwood-Moreland shooting

The Portland Police Bureau is investigating a shooting that left one person injured in Southeast Portland.

Officers learned that an adult man with a “non-life-threatening” gunshot wound reportedly arrived at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center around 3:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

He was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle, according to a news release.

Police believe the shooting occurred earlier in the night near the corner of Southeast 17th Avenue and Tenino Street — though a search of the area did not turn up evidence of gunfire.

“Officers believe the suspects involved in this incident were two males and one female riding in a newer blue sedan,” a police spokesperson wrote.
