Fireworks fill night skies

- The 56th annual Vancouver Fireworks Spectacular is arguably the most extensive show on Fourth of July.
The 56th annual Vancouver Fireworks Spectacular features the largest fireworks show in the Pacific Northwest at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington. The show begins at 10:05 p.m. and will be live-streamed by KGW.

People are encouraged to find their viewing spot at 4 p.m.
The Historic Trust and city of Vancouver are bringing back food and entertainment with food trucks and live music throughout the evening.

• Fireworks also take place over Waterfront Park on the Willamette River, thanks to the Waterfront Blues Festival.

• Drones were planned as part of the city of Lake Oswego’s celebration, but the city will go with laser lights. The 7:30-10:30 p.m. festivities take place at Millennium Park Plaza in Lake Oswego.
