Maintenance closes St. Johns Bridge for five nights

Maintenace work will close the St. Johns Bridge for five nights starting Monday, Feb. 24.

The St. Johns Bridge closes at night next week so Oregon’s Department of Transportation can do maintenance and inspection.

The bridge will be closed for five nights starting 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24. It should be closed until 5 a.m. the following mornings. Work continues Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.

Detours will be set up around the bridge.

Only emergency vehicles and TriMet buses will be allowed over the bridge during the closure times.
