Don’t delay! Oregon voter registration deadline is Oct. 13

Voter registrations are due Tuesday,Oct. 13. Prospective voters can register at www.oregonvotes.org.

With three weeks left until the election, Tuesday, Oct. 13, is the final day in which Oregonians can register to vote.

Prospective voters can register at www.oregonvotes.org or go directly to the Secretary of State’s website at https://sos.oregon.gov/voting/Pages/registration.aspx until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.

To register to vote online, you will need an Oregon driver’s license, permit or ID card number issued by the Oregon Driver and Motor Vehicle Services Division.

If you do not have an Oregon driver’s license, permit or ID card, you can still use the online voter registration application. The information you enter will display on a voter registration card (PDF document) that you will need to print, sign and deliver to your county elections office to complete your registration.

In addition to registration, voters can use the My Vote link on the Oregon Secretary of State’s website to:

— check if you are registered to vote

— view your voter registration information

— update your voter registration

— check the status of your ballot

— find contact information for your county elections office

— find contact information for your elected officials

— find a ballot drop site
