Oregon Ducks 2022 football schedule announced

The Dan Lanning era of Oregon Ducks football will begin with a marquee matchup against the program Lanning is leaving to take over the Ducks.

Oregon and Georgia will play each other Saturday, Sept. 3, in Atlanta.

While technically a neutral-site game, taking on the Bulldogs in Atlanta figures to be very much a road game for the Ducks.

The nonconference slate includes home games Sept. 10 against Eastern Washington and Sept. 17 against BYU. The Cougars went 5-0 against Pac-12 teams in 2021, including beating Pac-12 champion Utah. BYU coach Kalani Sitake was reportedly interviewed for Oregon’s job.

The Ducks Pac-12 home games are against Stanford, Washington, UCLA and Utah. Oregon’s conference road games are against Oregon State, Washington State, California, Arizona and Colorado.

The bye week comes on Dec. 15, between games at Arizona and at home against UCLA.

Oregon does not play USC or Arizona State.

The rivalry game at Oregon State is slated for the Friday after Thanksgiving.

The Pac-12 championship game is Friday, Dec. 2, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
