The Dandy Warhols are celebrating their 30th anniversary, and the Portland band invites fans to participate in a five-day, multi-venue “extravaganza” at McMenamins venues in December.

The events kick off 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 at McMenamins Mission Theater with an all-ages Little Clouds Record Showcase featuring standout acts from their label ($20 advance/$25 day of show, mcmenamins.com). The next night, 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, the band plays a full-length all-ages concert at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom ($42-$57, crystalballroompdx.com), and there’ll also be a 21-and-over DJ-fueled after party.
Guests will get the VIP experience at The Odditorium, 939 S.W. 10th Ave., The Dandy Warhols’ recording and rehearsal space in Portland, at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.
The celebration continues as fans can join The Dandy Warhols on an Amtrak trip to Tacoma, Washington, where the band will play at the McMenamins Spanish Ballroom at Elks Temple, 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. The tour wraps up with brunch with the band at Spanish Ballroom at Elks Temple, a time to “recoup and reminisce,” 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15.

The band released its 12th album earlier this year, “Rockmaker,” which includes collaborations with The Pixies’ Frank Black (aka Black Francis), Blondie’s Debbie Harry and Guns N’ Roses’ Slash.
The Dandy Warhols consists of lead singer/guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor, Peter Holmstrom (guitar, keyboards), Zia McCabe (keyboard, bass, percussion) and Brent DeBoer (drums, backing vocals).
