A tsunami warning has been issued for parts of the Southern Oregon coast following a 7.3 magnitude earthquake in Northern California.

A tsunami warning has ended for parts of Oregon after a large span of the West Coast braced for the impact of a large earthquake that hit off the coast of California, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS said the warning effected Douglas/Lane Line, Oregon, which is located 10 miles south of Florence, to Davenport, California. However, that warning was updated to no longer include Oregon by noon.

The tsunami is estimated to have been caused by a magnitude 7 earthquake off the coast of California near Eureka around 10:45 a.m.
