Authorities say they’re still working to find those involved in a burglary ring involved in thefts at more than 100 Portland businesses after two people were indicted Thursday in connection with the spree.

Officials with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office and Portland Police Bureau spoke Friday morning on the recent arrests and shared that they are working diligently to find anyone involved in the burglary ring.

According to authorities, the burglaries have targeted businesses, restaurants and bars around the city. DA Vasquez spoke on the current situation, calling the burglaries “wholly unacceptable.”

“Quite frankly, this is one of the largest burglary rings that I have seen in my over two decades of time as a prosecutor,” said Vasquez. “The fact that we are talking about nearly 100 businesses is absolutely infuriating. We live in an amazing community, but this is wholly unacceptable.”
