The show is traditionally the largest display of new motor vehicles and accessories in the Pacific Northwest. It opened on Thursday, Feb. 20, and is scheduled to run until Sunday, Feb. 23, at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Portland.
As always, the show will feature representatives from global automotive brands who will be on-site to answer questions and provide information on new vehicles and vehicle technology. This year it is happening during a critical time for an important segment of the automotive industry: all-electric vehicles. President Donald Trump has promised to reverse years of growing federal pressure to increase the production and sale of new EVs. During his first few weeks in office, Trump repudiated the previous administration’s goal of battery-powered vehicles accounting for 50% of new sales in the U.S. by 2030.
Show organizers say demand is still growing for EVs, and a large selection will be available for inspection and even test drives, however. They include the new Dodge Charger Daytona EV, inspired by the original gas-powered muscle car that can go zero to 60 in just 3.5 seconds.

“Certainly, there are questions about the immediate future of vehicle sales, but the fact remains that transportation is an essential part of life. With a focus on vehicle costs, many consumers are sure to consider vehicles that provide savings in other ways, primarily in fuel consumption. To that end, electric vehicles and Plug-in Hybrid EVs have been steadily gaining ground as part of overall vehicle sales,” the show said.
All kinds of new vehicles will be presented by major manufactures at the show, who will have representatives on-site to provide information and answer questions. The lineup includes: BMW, Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Genesis, GMC, Honda, INEOS, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Mercedes, Mini, Polestar, RAM, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, and more.
New this year, the Motorcycle Pavilion is being expanded and moved to the larger Portland Ballroom, where it will be easier to find and see. It will feature such top brands such as Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Polaris, Yamaha, KTM, and Zero, with others being added as the opening approaches.
Popular returning features include:
- Drive and Rides: Indoor EV and outdoor traditional vehicle test drives will put consumers in some of the latest offerings from BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota and Volkswagen.
- The New Car Giveaway: Ticket holders will have an opportunity to win a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, on Sunday, Feb. 23, the final day of the show.
