It’s the vision of 82 Acres, a newly opened neighborhood restaurant, from the owners of Abbey Road Farm, occupying the former Quiantrelle location at Southeast Clinton Street and 21st Avenue.
“It’s been a dream come true to lead a restaurant that has its own farm,” Executive Chef Will Preisch said in a statement. “We’re excited to share what Abbey Road Farm grows and raises with Portland diners here at 82 Acres.”
Opened on Wednesday, Feb. 19, Preisch brings experience from renowned Portland restaurants, including Le Pigeon and Holdfast, and also oversees the kitchen at Abbey Road Farm, an 82-acre farm, winery, bed and breakfast, and event venue in Carlton.

The restaurant has a cozy ambience. A dark purple wall is covered in photos from Abbey Road Farm, and a back patio features calming greenery. There are 38 seats in total.
82 Acres opens for dinner service at 5 p.m. from Wednesday through Sunday.
The menu — one that is approachable — emphasizes the bounty of ingredients in the Pacific Northwest while paying homage to the caliber of past restaurants Preisch worked at.
Guests can enjoy small and large plates curated around seasonal vegetables and locally sourced meats and seafood. The opening menu features carrot falafel with herb yogurt and chili crisp; mussel escabeche toast with saffron aioli; charred cabbage with smoked onion purée; roasted half-chickens, a three-day process, with brown butter jus; and more.
More flavors are coming soon with the introduction of a cheese cart, featuring Abbey Road Farm’s honey and jam alongside a selection of imported and local cheeses.
The two desserts rounding out the menu are French toast with custard, chocolate cremaux, espresso white chocolate crumble, and olive oil, and a date cake with yeasted caramel, and lees whipped cream.
Honoring Abbey Road Farm’s 16 grape varieties, the beverage program is stocked with wines and signature cocktails, such as the “Meunier After Midnight,” which has bourbon, lemon, demerara and an Abbey Road Farm Pinot Meunier float.
For the non-boozers, 82 Acres has a non-acholic menu featuring drinks like the “Forbidden Fruit,” made with Wilderton, pomegranate orgeat and lime.
Quiantrelle, a high-end dining experience, closed its doors on New Year’s Day this year after nearly a decade.
“From surviving a pandemic to thriving in two different locations, it’s been an incredible journey full of triumphs and unforgettable moments — all made possible by you, our supporters,” Quaintrelle wrote in an Instagram post. “As we close out this chapter at SE Clinton Street, we invite you to celebrate with us one last time the Quaintrelle way — with foie gras and caviar paired with a cocktail flight or Champagne.”
Quiantrelle’s sister property was Abbey Road Farm, according to its social media posts, making the restaurant in its place close to home. Preisch most recently took over the business’ kitchen on Dec. 11, 2024, for a one-night a la carte dinner before it closed.
