An opening date is yet to be announced, though the company said it will be this spring at 2800 S.E. Division St., with a grand reopening to be expected.
Guests can anticipate garage doors that open to an outdoor seating area, large tables for activities, lounge-like seating and floor-to-ceiling windows to let in all the light.
Moving to a bigger, brighter space is a choice to create a hub for cider enthusiasts and newcomers, who can enjoy the brand’s more than 30 flavors on tap, including specialty cider cocktails, craft beers, award-winning ciders and hard lemonades.
“Our team is committed to providing an exceptional experience for all, introducing folks to craft cider, serving long-time cider fans, and becoming part of the neighborhood. We can’t wait to see how the community makes the Schilling Cider House their own,” Schilling said.
The kitchen will remain 100% gluten-free, keeping items like beloved corn dogs, while introducing things like charcuterie boards, fried chicken sandwiches and seasonal specials.
From date nights to book club get-together, Schilling Cider House’s new Portland location plans to be a spot for hosting events. It’s partnered with the Portland Pickles to offer ticket giveaways throughout the season.
The space will be available to rent for private events.
