“To the stars that listen and the dreams that are answered.”
While that might be a quote spoken by Feyre and Rhysand, two main characters in the five-book series, “A Court of Thorns and Roses,” by Sarah J. Maas, its message of hope is one author Chelsea Cole used in creating a cookbook based on the “romantasy” — romance meets fantasy — books.
The quote depicts a sense of hope for those who wish and dream.

Cole created “A Feast of Thorns and Roses,” dreaming to bring 65 recipes inspired by the series’ beloved characters, enchanting places and impressionable plotlines.
From feasts in the Night Court to cozy dishes in the Spring Court, this book aims to share them all, including Feyre’s favorite chocolate cake.
A University of Oregon graduate, and resident of the Willamette Valley, just outside of Portland, Cole will celebrate her new cookbook at a release party from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the Heathman Hotel, 1001 S.W. Broadway, in Downtown Portland.
Included in the event are bite-sized foods from the book, a bar, and ACOTAR-themed activities, like a temporary tattoo station.
Cole previously wrote two cookbooks, “Everyday Sous Vide,” and “Sous Vide Meal Prep,” and teaches courses on cookbook writing online at The Cookbook Lab.
“Sous Vide” is a cooking method involving sealed bags and water baths. It comes from France.
Her new book will be available on April 1 at Barnes & Noble, Grand Gesture Books, Bookshop, Amazon and Target.
