Cable channel TLC is planning another show around people in the Portland area.

For years, TLC has profiled the Roloff family in “Little People, Big World,” but the channel is now preparing for a new reality show, “Polyfamily.”

“Polyfamily” will follow two married couples who, according to TLC, live together as a four-person couple, called a “quad.”

“With four children already and another on the way, the quad is redefining what it means to be a family,” according to TLC’s promotional materials.

The show will follow two married couples, Alysia Rodgers and her husband Tyler Rodgers, and Sean Hartless and Taya Hartless. The four live together, date one another and have children together.

“In addition to the complex parenting dynamics, dating each other’s partners is not without its share of emotional challenges,” TLC writes. “Non-romantic partners Taya and Alysia must navigate their insecurities and the inevitable jealousy that comes along with this unique relationship. At the same time, non-romantic partners Tyler and Sean often clash over their differing parenting approaches. But with the new baby almost here, the quad must get on the same page sooner than later.”

Polyfamily” premieres on TLC at 10 p.m., April 29.
