Police investigating downtown Portland killing

A man has died after being shot in downtown Portland late Sunday.
The victim was not immediately identified. No one has been arrested.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, at 10:20 p.m. on April 27, Central Precinct officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of South Harbor Drive and South Harrison Street in Downtown Portland. When the officers arrived, they located an adult male who had been shot.
The suspect or suspects had already fled the scene.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Police were notified that he had died on Monday, April 28.

Police said the identity of the victim will be released after the Medical Examiner has determined the cause and manner of death and next of kin has been notified.
