Carol M. Eaden

August 31, 1926 – April 10, 2025 – Carol M. Eaden, 98, of Woodburn (Flagstaff, AZ), passed away on April 10, 2025. She was born August 31, 1926 in Arthur County Nebraska to Frank and Maggie Lane.
Carol grew up on a ranch in Nebraska during the depression. After attending college in Colorado, Carol moved to Oregon City as an emergency teacher during World War II. While there, she met her beloved husband “Red”. Their marriage spanned 64 years. Moving to Woodburn to begin their life together, Carol worked beside Red at Eaden’s Bakery. She later worked as a school secretary for 17 years, a job she especially enjoyed. Carol was very involved in the community and was an active volunteer. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge and she was a 50 year member of PEO. She had a special fondness for her family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, V.J. “Red” Eaden and their son Randy Eaden.
She is survived by her daughter, Malea (Eaden) Mason, Flagstaff, AZ, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A public Celebration of Life will be held at Woodburn United Methodist Church, 700 North Cascade Dr. on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 3 PM.
