Fosters Food Carts is back – and it’s better than ever.
At least that’s what the press release said.
Southeast Portland can get excited as the beloved food cart pod makes its return, with a grand opening, on Saturday, May 17, featuring live music, food specials and more.
“Foster Food Carts has always been about more than just serving great food,” Nik Badwaik, the owner, said in a statement. “It’s about creating a space where neighbors connect, cultures are celebrated, and local businesses thrive. We’re excited to bring that sense of community back to the heart of the Foster-Powell neighborhood.”
The food cart pod, previously called Carts on Foster, abruptly closed in August 2023, leaving many surprised, according to a news article from KOIN 6 News.
