Whether it’s a roast of the Met Gala outfits, yapping at strangers on the street or trialing celebrity recipes, Chris Klemens covers it all on his YouTube channel.

With more than 1.36 million YouTube subscribers, dubbed his “Klementines,” Klemens joined the platform in the late 2000s. Across his digital platforms, Klemens has a following of about five million.

While the Delaware native still maintains his high presence on social media, Klemens launched his first regional comedy tour in 2023, selling out venues from San Francisco to New York City.

Now, he’s making a debut with his stand-up comedy tour, “Chris Klemens Live,” coming to Portland on Saturday, May 31, at the Helium Comedy Club, 1510 S.E. Ninth Avenue.

“I’m stoked to finally perform in Portland! I’ve been dying to do a show here because I just know my fans here are unreal. I’m going to hopefully spend some time walking around the city, and if I didn’t have a gluten intolerance, I’d be diving headfirst into the donut scene. I guess I’ll have to go visit the dispensaries,” Klemens said in an email.

This tour will head to venues in Austin, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Raleigh, North Carolina; Seattle, Washington; New York City, New York; Indianapolis, Indiana; St. Louis, Missouri; and Portland, Oregon.

Guests will see Klemens’ improvisation and interaction, and his ability to connect with the live audience.

General admission tickets cost $38.99 and can be found online.
