Oregon State baseball’s Goss Stadium at Coleman Field will play host to the regional round of the 2025 NCAA baseball championship, with the Beavers being announced as the No. 8 national seed during the 64-team field’s unveiling Monday, May 26.

The Beavers’ top-8 seeding not only guarantees Corvallis as a host site for regionals, but a potential super regional as well. The 2025 selection marks Oregon State’s 13th time ever hosting a regional and 11th since the 2005 season.

It’s the third time Corvallis has been chosen as a host-site in Beavers head coach Mitch Canham’s six-year tenure and the second time as a top-8 seed.

The Beavers finished off their regular season with a 41-12-1 record and sitting at No. 6 in RPI. Playing an independent schedule, Oregon State did not have a conference tournament to complete in and entered Monday’s selection show having fallen one spot in RPI to No. 7 without playing a game. The No. 6-seed LSU Tigers (No. 10 RPI) were the only team ranked lower in RPI to earn a higher national seed than Oregon State.

The four-team, double-elimination Corvallis regional will be filled out by Big 12 Conference runner-up TCU (39-18) as the No. 2, USC (32-21) as the No. 3 and West Coast Conference tournament champion Saint Mary’s (35-24) as the No. 4. Oregon State did not face any of the three during the 2025 season.

The Corvallis regional will be paired with No. 9 national-seed Florida State (38-14) and the Tallahassee regional. The Seminoles will host Northeastern (48-9), Mississippi State (37-21) and Bethune-Cookman (37-21).

The winners of the two regionals will face each other for a best-of-three super regional at the higher-seeded team’s home field. Should Oregon State win the Corvallis regional, the super regional would take place at Goss Stadium.

Oregon State will open its postseason play against Saint Mary’s at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 30. The game will be aired on ESPN+.
