Portland police have arrested two people on multiple gun and drug charges as the result of a coordinated multi-agency operation. Numerous guns, a large quantity of drugs, and cash were seized as evidence.
Patrick J. Rambert, 46, of Portland, is jailed on five charges. Brianna M. Streeter, 31, of Portland, is jailed on three charges.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, the investigation began during a Service Coordination Team Proactive Patrol mission in the North Precinct. During that mission, officers obtained actionable intelligence identifying an individual involved in narcotics trafficking and the possession of illegal firearms.
Investigators conducted extensive surveillance and follow-up investigations to corroborate the information, the bureau said. These efforts led to the development of probable cause of crimes committed and the subsequent issuance of search warrants.
Then, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 14, a search warrant was executed in the 1600 block of Northeast 66th Avenue by members of the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit, in coordination with the North Precinct Neighborhood Response Team the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, the Special Emergency Reaction Team and the Crisis Negotiation.
Rambert and Streeter were arrested during the raid. Rambert was found to have an outstanding probation warrant for criminally negligent homicide.
Police said the search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 195.4 grams of cocaine, $9,424 in U.S. currency believed to be drug proceeds, and three illegally possessed handguns.
The following day, Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit and North Precinct Neighborhood Response Team investigators applied for and were granted another search warrant for a storage unit connected to the suspects in the 1500 block of Northeast 67th Avenue. There they seized six illegally possessed firearms and over 1000 rounds of ammunition.
