The Big Sky Conference released its 2025 preseason football all-conference selections Monday, with a pair of Portland State Vikings cracking the list.
The list’s release coincided with the beginning of the conference’s 2025 media kickoff at Northern Quest Resort and Casino in Spokane, Washington. All 12 of the Big Sky’s football programs attended the event, represented by each team’s head coach and two players. The 37-player all-conference roster was voted on by local and national media members, with 10 of the conference’s 12 members having at least one or more representatives (Northern Colorado and Sacramento State did not have a player named).
Junior tight end Tanner Beaman and sophomore safety Isaiah Green represented Portland State on the list.

Beaman, a graduate of Skyline High School in Vancouver, Washington, enters the 2025 season as one of the Vikings’ go-to options in the passing game. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound tight end enjoyed a breakout campaign a season ago. After redshirting his freshman season and seeing limited playing time in 2023, Beaman earned Big Sky all-conference second team honors as a redshirt sophomore. He hauled in 21 catches for 257 yards and scored one touchdown for the Vikings en route to the honor and returns as one of Portland State’s leading receivers for the 2025 season.
Green worked his way up the Vikings’ depth chart quickly as a redshirt freshman, starting seven of the 11 games he appeared in during the 2024 campaign. Hailing from Oxnard, California, the Oaks Christian High School alum recorded 50 tackles, four pass break-ups and an interception. Green’s 50 tackles ranked fourth on Portland State’s roster and are the most of any returner on the defensive side of the ball. He looks to anchor the backend of the Vikings defense heading into his sophomore season.
Portland State opens the 2025 season the earliest it ever has, kicking off the 2025 season against No. 6 Tarleton State at Hillsboro Stadium on Aug. 23.
