Thousands of tipsy Santas to take over Portland for SantaCon bar crawl

What happens when you mix a bar crawl, white beards and velvety red suits?
A whole bunch of jolly, tipsy Santa Clauses walking the streets of Portland for SantaCon.
Back again, SantaCon will bring more than 3,000 Santa Clauses to the city for a bar crawl spanning dozens of venues on Saturday, Dec. 20.
Besides thousands of boozed-up Santas, the event features access to numerous bars, professional photographers, speed dating, a costume contest and more.
What does a SantaCon ticket include?
General admission tickets cost $23, and VIP tickets cost $44.
Both tickets include wristbands, free cover fees at all the venues, two drink or shot vouchers, discount drink specials, $10 off an Uber or Lyft ride home, admission to the street closure bar party, access to a cash prize costume contest and access to a singles speed dating event.
VIP tickets give guests extra perks, including a gold wristband, access to skip lines at venues, a Pendleton Whisky hat and koozie, and one entry to win a Pendleton Whisky golf bag. A limited number of VIP tickets are available.
Prices are set to go up on Dec. 14.
Tickets can be purchased online. They are nonrefundable, but can be transferred to friends and family.
If the event does not sell out beforehand, tickets may be available the day of.

First place gets $500, second place gets a Pendleton Whisky cooler and third place gets a Pendleton Whisky folding cart.
