Kyron Horman, a boy who disappeared from Skyline Elementary School in Portland about 16 years ago, is mentioned in an anonymous tip to the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the Epstein files.

As first reported by The Oregonian, the file is reportedly a tip to the FBI about potential child trafficking happening in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, which cites the names of multiple missing persons cases. The tip claims that there have been reports over the years about an “extensive Day Care/Adoption ring” in Thornhill, where Epstein — the late financier and convicted sex offender — was reportedly spotted “with his hair dyed brown.”

Named in the tip are Kyron Horman, Madeleine McCann and Haleigh Cummings, who are three missing children who have all never been found, which several of their name were misspelled in the document. Claims continue on in the tip, reporting that the ring was possibly related to money laundering or money movement in what the tipster called the “Epstein/Clinton Foundation,” claiming it was tied to Hillary Clinton’s brother.

Kyron mention doesn’t go beyond the anonymous tip.

The boy was last seen at his Portland elementary school on June 4, 2010. The last known person who saw Kyron was his stepmother, Terri Horman.

Despite annual efforts and hundreds of searches, Kyron has never been found and no arrests have ever been made.

Kyron’s mother, Desiree Young, noted that there are no connections between Epstein and Kyron in an email to KOIN 6 News.

Just last year, Multnomah County investigators and prosecutors announced they would be reexamining his case with assistance from the FBI.

“We have never stopped searching for Kyron. We remain steadfast in our commitment to bring resolution to this case, for Kyron, for his family and for the community. With the support of our partners and the public, we are actively pursuing every credible investigative opportunity. Kyron and his family are at the heart of our work,” Multnomah County Sheriff Nicole Morrisey O’Donnell said in the May 2025 announcement.
